AnyDesk Installation Options

If you're using Debian or Red Hat-compatible Linux distributions, we strongly recommend installing AnyDesk from our official repositories (DEB Repository, RPM Repository). If you require older versions of AnyDesk for specific situations, our archived repositories are also available (Archived DEB Repository, Archived RPM Repository).

However, please note that the last version of AnyDesk that supports certain features is no longer supported. You can still download it, but be aware that future updates and support will not be provided.

macOS Installation

For macOS devices, you'll need to install AnyDesk using a DMG file. Simply drag and drop the AnyDesk application into your Applications folder. To complete the installation, double-click the AnyDesk application in the DMG, then click the orange 'Install Now' tile in the main AnyDesk window and accept the Terms and Conditions.

There are three installation modes for AnyDesk on macOS: full installation via DMG, portable installation, and full installation via PKG. The full installation installs both the AnyDesk client and the AnyDesk Services, which is required to use features such as connecting to the macOS AnyDesk client while switching or logging out of your user account.

Windows Installation

For Windows devices, you can install AnyDesk using an MSI package, which will install AnyDesk on your device. You can also run the executable file version (EXE) by simply starting the AnyDesk program and clicking the link contained in the orange 'Install AnyDesk' tile.

Linux, Raspberry Pi, and FreeBSD Installation

For Linux, Raspberry Pi, and FreeBSD devices, you can use the executable file version of AnyDesk. This can be used both while installed and uninstalled.
